As some of you know the midnighters master tech has a project car of his own that never seems to get worked on because he’s always helping his friends out making their cars awesome….. soooo….

Time to force Tak to work on his own car for once!

Weighing up the rotating assembly…. again.  He’s done it at least 6 times by this point in the build, but with what this motor has to do it really is required.

Getting the rings to all fit perfectly requires a stead hand and some patience…. I’m glad he’s doing it and not me!

Some lube goes on… Almost time to start putting them in the block!

First one finally goes in… It’s 12:30am on saturday morning now.

Final product, Piston in and moving nicely.  The rest of them went in without too much trouble and we’ll be working on the head in the coming week.  Hopefully the car will be done this year!
