I stopped by Neptune D late friday night to see what Pete was up to and to get some new front tires mounted up.   As usual pete was hard at work doing some last minute touches on his drift car, the s14 came from one of his team mates and has undergone some big changes in the past few months.  Today was 5-lug swap and adding some rear over fenders (with pre-applied “Hate Tap” Sticker).

The shop was a bit of a mess, organized chaos we call it, but as he was headed to Vancouver Island for the season finale of Capital Drift it was understandbale trying to get everything together.

Some of you might recognize the fenders as they were off Marc-Andre Tatto’s S14.5 and have now migrated over to Pete’s s14.

Who needs a desk when you can work from the middle of the shop floor?  Phone call from a customer brings work to a halt as he answers questions and arranges a timeframe for the work to be done.

Ok… Onto what we came here for.  The Achilles 123s’s in a 255/35/17 to replace my 225/45/17.  Time to mount these bad boys up and see if they clear a stock fender!

Out with the old… In with the new!    Don’t mind the toe worn edge on the dunlop…. I went a while without an alignment….

While we were test fitting the wheels another friend stops by to mount up his tires for tomorrows festivities!  Time to break out the blaster and mount these guys up!

BAM!!!!!!  good to go!

The finished product, tires all mounted up and the fit great!  Only thing i noticed was the the front end is now lower (scrapes on more), other than that I’ve had no rubbing issues at all.
