The day Began for me a little later than usual, the boys from Team Midnighters picked me up a little before 8am and we hit the road. The first thing we saw when we got to the track was this…

This might give you a bit of an idea of how far off the beaten path we were, such a beautiful drive through the hills of Penticton, BC.
As the pits started to fill up our friends from Team Drift Safari showed up with their 2J powered R32 Skyline and their SR Powered AE86 Corolla.
I didn’t catch the owners name, but we do know he made a very long drive out from Saskatchewan. Unfortunately he had motor issues which caused him to miss out on most of the event.
One of the first cars on track was this RB powered S13 that we had seen on Hwy 5 cruising up with us. As you can see, no stranger to smoke
Ramsey Trew was out again in his FC, Haven’t seen much of this guy lately and it was good to see the beast out again!
Ramsey was pushing so hard that he ended up 3 wheeling on a flat track! I have no idea how he managed that one.
Logan and Shawn were tearing it up early in the day, it was pretty obvious these guys have been driving together for years as they were very comfortable around each other.
Trent Stromkins was the dirt drop king on this corner, even with Kevin from Serial Nine getting far too comfortable in the passenger seat! (yes those are his feet out the window)
Marc-Andre Tatto was back in his usual style smoking up a storm through the infield!
Riding shotgun with Nick Oldford is our local Drifted photographer Cole Chalmers.
Cole was a very busy man on track, after his ride with Nick he jumped into Shane Jensen’s Civic race car to take even more photos. I can’t wait to see how they turned out!
Logan and Shawn were duking it out when sadly Logan’s axle exploded, he headed back to the pits and got it fixed only to get back out and have his wheel bearing go…. not an ideal day but he’ll be all fixed up in time for Allstar bash!
Ramsey Took Runner up spot in the “Mantry” contest! 3rd place was Trevor in his S/C Corolla and the winner and reigning champ is….
Shawn Browne from Drift Union!
Steve Thompson’s Toyota Soarer is the definition of a badass “DoriBoat” but Jack Connelly brought out his x81 Cresta to show that Ablerta can drift land yachts as well as BC
Pete Schroeder Deserved one of our “Hate Tap” stickers after this hit, thankfully he hit in such a spot it did not affect the suspension geometry and he kept going! Neptune D brings it big every event! Looks like they have a new Missile car!
Even after the huge hit that caved in the rear of his X8, Pete still went out to show the crowd how a walltap is done.
Mat Rodger came out a little rusty with some mechanical issues but got everything sorted out and was killing it all day!
