It had been about a month since I had been up to Penticton Speedway and last time was taking my Mom up for mothers day! We’d made a few minor changes to the car and got the front end working a bit better which made the day MUCH more fun!

We took the pair from last event flipped them to give me something to start on this time… added a bit more tire pressure and…..

SMOKE HAPPENED!!!!!!!

A little rest before layout number 2 began, took a little longer than the first layout with the crossover but it was worth it! Also made tires disappear!

As the day went along I was getting more and more comfortable as the day went along and really started to have some fun!

The wall the everyone loves to tap seems to get closer and closer to my bumper with every trip!

With the day almost over we had a little competition, to which I qualified 7th and got pair up agains the damn dirty Aussie…. My friend Steve Thompson in the Drift Union Soarer. Let the games begin!

Here’s steve chasing me down as I try to keep a smooth line and hit all my clipping points! What you won’t see is me driving up what we call the “ski Jump”… LIFTOFF!

And the landing…. Thankfully it didn’t affect my line too much and finished up with Steve glued to me at every corner.

Thanks Steve for the “Tandem 101″ lesson! Had a great time and can’t wait for much much more of this at the Drift Union Invitational!
Make sure you watch until the end to see Pat Lee’s nice wall smash
