Evergreen Drifts Round 3 was shaping up to be a wet event… Thankfully the rain held off and it was a great day of overcast with very little rain at all!

Jesse was back out in his crazy BMW, this thing gets a little bit more insane every time he comes out.  Today was no different with his wall tap mid bank!  Dude is crazy…

To start the day off with a bit of a downer… This miata understeered on the bank and narrowly missed the wall hitting a pile of tires and flying over them!  Thankfully it was mostly cosmetic damage and the driver walked away.  He actually DROVE the car home! I certainly hope to see him out there again!

As some of you that follow the Midnighters Team page may have seen… My boost controller self destructed on saturday afternoon which meant that I had a severe drop in power coming into this event.  Did that stop me?  Not A Chance!

I haven’t seen Tom Ake out since a PGP day early last year.  He has since painted the car, added a kit and ditched the shiny wheels.  Was great to see him out there again and to see such a big car get tossed around!  Keep it up Tom!

Rob was laying down some solid runs as usual, I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again.  Best sounding car at evergreen!  Keep up the great work Rob!
