EVD80 Round 5 Pro-Am

The final round of Evergreen Drift’s Pro-Am series brought out the spirit of the season in all the drivers.  Once again these guys drove with no fear and putting their cars through their paces putting on quite a show for the crowd!

Tyler Grimsley has been plagued with issues all year so it was great to see him get a day without anything go wrong!  It really showed what he and the car were capable of and next season shows to be a great season for him if he keeps up his progress!

Mike Phillips came out for some seat time before Irwindale, with each passing run you could see him get back to his normal style and it was a real pleasure to watch! I really can’t wait to see him tare up the Irwindale bank in October!

Mitch was back out in the Cressida getting really aggressive on some of his runs trying to make up some valuable points!

Nik Jiminez and Tyler Grimsley put on a classic KA vs SR battle, after the smoke cleared Nik came out on top but only by a hair!

Micheal and Matt are relatively new to Pro-Am but these guys have really taken the time to work on setting their cars up and with each passing round it shows their skill levels and cars have come such a long way in such a short amount of time!

Jeremy Ricther showing exactly how he earned his FD license!  I think he and mike were having too much fun, they kept going and going and going.  Great job guys!

Kory Keezer decided to be too awesome….

Always has a smile on his face in the end though!

Season ended as it usually does… With a Bang!  Great job by all the drivers this year, can’t wait for next year!

Special congrats to Rob Primo, Victor Moore Racing, Jeremy Richter and Nik Jimenez for earning their Formula D licenses for 2013!
