Well it’s that time of year again where we all get our cars back together and head out to the track and see if all that work over the winter has paid off. As spring rounds the corner and tracks open up again we get days like today, a brisk sunny day at the track with some old faces and lots of new ones.

This would be one of the familiar faces you seen many times on Big Boy Media and around the PNW driving the wheels (and body panels) off this 350z! Andrew has put a lot of time and energy into this car and it shows, this weekend was testing out his new suspension setup…. the fact he was running full throttle 3rd through 70% of the course showed that it was paying off.

I was really hoping to see more of Nik Jimenez, after a short day at PGP the weekend before, Nik went out hard… Maybe a little to hard as his car ended back on the trailer early in the day with a blown transmission.

This was a new car to me, I’ve heard he was out some time ago but I dont recognize the car. Whomever it was you can see it was doing very well. The amount of angle coming off those knuckles was seriously amazing to me.

Here is DriftSafari’s own Ian Fournier drifting his daily driver R32 GTS-t with a stock RB20DET. I am so impressed with this car and him as a driver, to be able to pull off some of the drifts that he did with that much power made my jaw drop.

And another shot of Ian just after letting go of the E-brake into the 3/8th’s bank.

This S14 is one I have seen out at PGP a few different times and seeing him tear up this track was really a great thing to watch.

Tom has been coming out to evergreen in this S13 for a while now pretty stock car motor wise and he always manages to drive it’s wheels off(as shown above).

Sugoi Style was at it again… Casey Torres and his non-latchable hatch shown here enjoying the 3/8ths bank on his hot lap session… Casey is the wall tapping king at evergreen, the left rear corner of that car has been tapped at least 30 times and he always just puts his fender back on and keeps on going.

And just because we love the “Missile” so much here is another shot of Casey tearing up the infield.

Kyle drives what we at Big Boy Media call the “Identity Crisis”, this FC is powered by an SR and runs Nissan front and rear brakes…. He’s shown here with some impressive lock and getting VERY close to that wall.

What can I say other than it’s Tyler Grimsley out again… Some of you have probably read my story about him knocking me out of competition last season once or twice (ok you’ve heard it 100 times) but I always make sure to stop by his pit and stay for a chat. Best line out of his crew chiefs mouth this event: “Something is weird in there, but until you break it I can’t fix it. So go break it!” Seems he and I think alike!

Here he is giving Tyler one last pep talk before Tylers first crack at the 5/8ths bank. They ran into a few mechanical issues before they had a chance to take a good run at the bank, they were getting them all fixed up just as we had to leave.
