What started out as another early morning and trek down the I-5 to year 3 for Forum Fest turned out to be probably one of the most interesting days to date for me.
What began as a beautiful sunny day suddenly turned into the rain storm of the year! The skies opened up and dumped what seemed like a lake onto our poor event soaking everyone that wasn’t prepared from head to tow!

Once the guys got warmed up on the course they seemed to get comfortable and start tearing it up in true PNW fashion! Seen here is Kenneth Pitts in his SR powered 240sx coupe entering turn 5 with some good speed! Hope to see lots more of this guy out this season!

Ruslan was out in his 550+ HP Sr20 powered 300zx, I had not seen this car since Nissan Fest in march and forgot how awesome it was. If you ever get a chance I sincerely suggest you take a good look over the car and see all the little touches on this car to make it perform as well as it does!

If you have not met NissanParts.cc Driver Dio…. Do yourself a favor and stop by his pit to say hi, such a great guy that drives the wheels off his car at every opportunity.

More Kenneth rocking out the E-Brake entry. Car has seen some battle damage…
An evergreen regular (that I consistently miss the name of) this V8 powered 240sx Coupe.

Matt Vankirk was out in the SR20 powered 240sx, for such a young guy he is really taking this season to new limits! Forumla D is just around the corner and I’m sure he will bring his A game!
Andre Escalante brought the carb powered v8 240sx out to play today, nothing seems to slow this guy down! He had some major mechanical issues early on in the season but once he got those sorted out he’s been nothing short of amazing to watch! keep it up!

I’ve been watching Rob Primo drift many tracks over the years in one of his 2 drift cars and I believe this is the first time he’s driven Pacific Raceways and it started to make me thing back to how many tracks I’ve actually seen Rob drive. His continuing ability to learn new tracks quickly and get into the zone amazes me. a few runs and he is laying it down like he’s been driving it for years!

The rain didn’t seem to affect Kory Keezer’s driving style the slightest! Seems his move to the 240sx has worked in his favour as he’s been tearing ou the track at every chance he gets!

Check out the standing water, Drivers were starting to get a little nervous at this point…. with good reason!
Yup…. Just a LITTLE water on the track!

David Nedelcu who is now rocking a supercharger under the hood of that Mustang is another one of the drivers that embraced the rain and took his driving to heart foot planted with LOTS of angle!

To end the day of rain and greatness David does a little dirt drop on the last run of the day!
