The Drift Union Invitational 2011 was our first exposure to HotBoyz, they showed up form Alberta/Saskatchewan with their cars ready for battle.  Jack Connelly and Eric Zapata drove their cars to the event from Alberta while Jordan Hall had his on a trailer all the way from Saskatchewan.

We’ll start with the little one, Jordan Hall and his SR20 Powered Miata!  When we first met Jordan last year at the Invitational event it was a short lived viewing as his motor spun a bearing after only a few runs.  Thankfully he’s a man of many talents and he grabbed his trusty camera and started shooting!  You see… Jordan also writes and shoots for our friends Dodologic!

Eric Zapata and his crazy 1JZ powered S13… What can I say about this guy other than he drives it like he stole it 100% of the time.  What you’re seeing here is the dedication of Eric and his friends.  A few days before the event Eric’s car was in Calgary with NO motor.  The last 1JZ died so he towed the car back home to calgary and swapped in the spare, however they did not have enough time to get it running so the night before a group of friends with a bright light (and the car still on the trailer) finished plumbing everything and got the car running. I think a big thanks goes out to Logan from Drift Union for the driveway use!

Last but not least is Jack Connelly and his Toyota Cresta.  This car has seen many battle scars (including at least 1 from every Drift Union Member now) and Jack continues to put it through it’s paces time and time again!

Now that all 3 of these guys are living in Kelowna BC you can expect to see much more of them on our pages!
