Pro-Am started out awesome on sunday, the guys came out swinging off the 5/8ths as shown by Mr. Rob Primo below. For a guy that has had over a year off the 5/8ths he has not lost his touch at all, sporting pretty much an entirely new car with an INSANE 2JZ stuffed under the hood! Last we saw of the durpal FC was at PGP for the Team Tandem event last year. Just a few changes for this year First off is the wheels… awesome as always but these really fit the car and with the camber all straightened up he’s fitting some pretty insane offsets in there.
I decided after spending all of Saturday afternoon at Taiyo Auto getting my car prepped for the event that is was worth the drive down in the wet to get some time behind the wheel instead of the camera…… WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
So this event was one thing…. WET. It rained all day which was great for the tires but it meant there was some spinning amongst the 33 drivers that showed up. Gaelen decided to get out from behind the camera and put in some wheel time with his new Knuckles!
